Light Brings Clarity and Self-Respect
When people are attracted to your light — precision, competence, confidence, emotional intelligence, a high level of linguistic integrity, language of precision, strength in the face of adversity, honor, self-respect — and it's projected into the external world rather than kept private, you are not the problem.
Remember the Johari Window theory of psychology: it explains how we see ourselves versus how others see us, and where conflict happens in the "blind spot" — where they see your boundaries as "attitude" because they lack the emotional maturity to see it as self-respect.
The problem is their inability to handle the clarity your light brings, and their inability to handle what they see when you place a mirror in front of them. You are not the problem. You are not in need of handling. Being in your light is a choice, and you are not forcibly asking anyone to stand in it or stare into it through any lens.
I spent far too much time trying to understand the behaviors of others. I have re-grounded myself.
A Script for the "Un-Handleable"
"I don't require 'dealing with.' I am an autonomous person with clear standards. If my presence feels like a burden to you, I support your choice to not engage."
"What you are perceiving as 'attitude' is actually my self-respect and my request for clarity. I can't control how you interpret my boundaries."
"I choose my words wisely because I value the truth. If you find my precision uncomfortable, we can revisit this when you feel more grounded."
